"As the Artistic Director for Canada's longest

running annual Blues Festival, The Porquis Blues

Festival, I have the responsibility for booking the

artists each year. The Erin McCallum band

headlined the 2010 Festival with more than 90

minutes of soulful blues that created a fan-band

chemistry we've never seen before. With heaps

of original music to draw upon from her three

albums, Erin and her band completely captivated

the crowd.

Vocally, Erin delivered a truly incredible
performance. Her colourful, passionate vocals were loaded with dynamics and character. This, I think is where the chemistry originated from. When Erin sings, you can feel her sincerity and it is something that the audience latched on to immediately. After several encores, Erin and her band closed the Festival and left a mark on all of us that we won't soon forget." - Don Elliiott

"Her voice reminds me of an early Etta James - she can be raw at times, but she doen't get concerned.  She sings a ballad as easy as a strong or heavy Blues rocker."

- Frank Van Englen, Blues Magazine, Netherlands."

"If you see Erin McCallum's name on a marquee near you, you should not hesitate to go in."

- John Valenteyn, host CIUT FM, 98.5, CD Reviewer for Maple Blues.
